Celebration Ceremony of New Check-in Service at the Dongguan Humen Ferry Terminal
Japan Airlines is introducing new check-in counters at Dongguan Humen Ferry Terminal. In order to provide a more comfortable and efficient journey for passengers on the airport routes, Japan Airlines has joined to provide the one-stop upstream airline check-in service in October.
Japan Airlines has cooperated with SkyLink Company, which is entrusted to Chu Kong Passenger Transport Co., Ltd. (CKS) and Dongguan Humen Longwei Passenger Ferry Co., Ltd. (SHIZIYANG) to provide one-stop upstream airline check-in service for passengers, enabling their luggage to be transferred directly to the destination. When passengers register at Humen Ferry Terminal, they can check in their luggage, with the added convenience of proceeding boarding procedures for their transit flights to save time.
After few weeks of operation and practice, Japan Airlines held a celebration ceremony on 23 October 2009 to mark the formal launch of both the airport routes check-in counters and upstream airline check-in service.
The enhance check-in facilities and the newly launched upstream check-in services will definitely reinforce the air-sea inter-modal platform, simplify passenger processing procedures, and bring welcomed convenience to international travellers.
